Missing Person Investigation Update

Web Release- 07-09-13 Missing Person Investigation Update

On 06-26-13, the City of Carbondale Police Department received a report of missing person Eva Jackson from a facility in the 600 block of West Main Street. The investigation has resulted in Jackson being recovered on 07-08-13 by the DuQuoin Police Department.

Prior Release

On 06-26-13, the City of Carbondale Police Department received a report of a missing person from the 600 block of West Main Street. Officers learned that Eva M. Jackson left the H-Group facility around 8:00 p.m. on 06-26-13. Jackson is described as a female Pacific Islander who is 5’06”, 175 pounds with brown eyes and short hair.  The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 549-COPS.  Anonymous tips may also be made by selecting the “Crime Stoppers” tab located on the main page of this web site.
