Michael C. Carr, Jackson County State’s Attorney, announced today that a Carbondale man entered a plea of guilty Thursday, September 26, 2013, to Theft and was sentenced to prison.

Robert L. Blair, 45, of Carbondale, IL, who was charged in Jackson County Circuit Court with Theft, plead guilty pursuant to a plea agreement and was sentenced to serve 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.  The defendant will serve a one year period of Mandatory Supervised Release upon his release from the Department of Corrections.
