Residential Burglary Investigation

04-24-14 Web Release – Residential Burglary Investigation

On 04-23-14, the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to a residence in the 800 block of East Main Street in reference to a report of a residential burglary. Officers learned an unknown suspect entered the unlocked residence and stole property sometime around 11:00 p.m. on 04-23-14. The suspect was identified as Anthony Watts.  Officers located Watts and recovered the stolen property.  Watts was arrestedand charged with Residential Burglary.  Watts wasincarcerated at the Jackson County Jail. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
