Criminal Damage to Property Investigation

The Carbondale Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an criminal damage to property investigation. On 09-20-16 at about 0930 hours, a white male was walking north in the 700 block of S. Illinois Ave. The white male walked over to a pick-up truck parked on S. Illinois Avenue and hit the hood of the truck with a skateboard. The suspect is identified as a white male, thin build wearing a gray shirt with black sleeves and a black ball cap. The suspect’s image is included with this release. Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
