Retail Theft Investigation

The City of Carbondale Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a retail theft investigation.   On 04-09-17 at 10:38 p.m., the suspect in the images below concealed merchandise while inside American Tap Liquors, located at 518 South Illinois Avenue.  The suspect fled the store without paying for the merchandise.  The suspect was last seen running west from the business.   Anyone who can identify the suspect listed below or anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 618-457-3200 or Crimestoppers at 618-549-COPS.   The investigation into the incident is continuing.
